Happy Birthday! - ハッピー・バースデー！

Coo just turned one year old on December 14.  He is now over 5 kilogram with lion mane.

クーは、１２月１４日に満一歳になった。体重も５キロを超え、ライオンのようなたてがみも立派になった。

新たな梱包材にワクワクのクー。天然素材が好み？
I made a space in the bookshelf for a new wireless printer, and then as expected Coo fitted into the space.

新しく買ったワイヤレス・プリンターを設置しようとして本棚を整理して隙間を作ったら、案の定クーがはまり込んだ。

I brought Coo to Banfield Veterinary Services in practice at PetSmart in Cambridge for the first annual check.

Little Coo in a carrying case, as quiet as a mouse.

He was 5.3 kg today.  Coo joined our family on February 13 at 9-week old and 990 g.

今日は、満一歳の定期健診。

ケンブリッジにあるPetSmartという大手ペットショップの中で開業しているBanfield Veterinary Servicesにお世話になっている。

キャリング・ケースの中のクー。まるで借りてきたネコ。

体重は５.３キロに。２月１３日に生後９週間で我家にやってきたときは９９０グラムだった。

Coo's Amusement Park - クーのアミューズメント・パーク

Several small and large boxes were delivered today and our living room became full of several kinds of packageing materials.

Coo got excited hiding here and there.

今日はボックスが大小いくつも配達され、部屋中が何種類かの梱包材で一杯に。

いろいろなところに隠れて、もう興奮状態。

And Coo peeped out through the materials with proud face.

I Love Packaging Materials - 梱包材大好き

Coo is always with us when a package is delivered.  He has never missed it.  He likes to get into the box, but he loves the packaging materials, being wrapped with it, lapping it, or gnawing it. 

荷物が配達されると必ずやってくるクー。絶対に見逃さない。箱に入るのも好きだが、梱包材には目がない。包まったり、なめたり、かじったり。

After gnawing the mesh packaging material, Coo showed his tongue a bit.  Coo seldom lolls out because he is a cat.

Coo looked like a cat pretending he is a naive cat.

網状の梱包材をかじりまくったあとにぺロリと舌を出した。クーはネコなので、めったに舌を出さない。

ちょっとあどけないネコのフリをしているネコのようだ。

Coo likes this bubble wrap too.

He strikes us rougher as if he knows we are protected with the material.

Coo on Weekend - 週末のクー

After being squeezed in my arm on Saturday morning, Coo disappeared soundlessly and then was found to be sleeping deeply on his favorite chair.

土曜日の朝、私の腕のなかでムニュっとなったクーは、音もなくいなくなったと思ったら、お気に入りの椅子の上で熟睡していた。

Coo had a good midday nap after playing just a little bit around lunch time. You may think he should be wakeful during night, but again he is sleeping nicely in our bed.

そしてお昼時にちょっと遊んで、午後には本格的なお昼寝。じゃあ、よるはお目々パッチリかというと、ちゃんと我々のベッドで寝ている。

And Coo was sleeping so deep today under the warm sun shine. Great!

Smooshed in my Arm <iPhone - 腕の中でグニュ

This is how Coo looks like this morning. When I sit down in front of my computer, he comes to tie up my left arm. Instead, he has never complained however I squeezed him in my arm. Look at his face! However, he clears out unpredictably and soundlessly. Coo is a cat!

今朝のクーちゃんです。コンピュータの前に座るとやってきて、私の左腕を占領する。その代わり、どんなに押しつぶしても大丈夫。でも、しばらくすると、何もなかったようにフッと音もなくいなくなる。ネコだな。
